Milford sits along Long Island Sound, and the older houses near the water tend to have low, damp basements where boxes, carpet offcuts and old appliances quietly rot. We carry that sort of thing out by hand rather than dragging it across a finished floor, and we take the swollen cardboard and mildewed furniture with it. If a basement or crawlspace has been packed since before you owned the house, tell us and we will plan the load around it rather than guessing at the kerb.
Around Walnut Beach and Woodmont, driveways are short, streets are narrow and parking is not something you improvise on a summer weekend. We work out where the truck sits before we start, keep the walk-out route clear, and avoid blocking neighbours in while we load. Inland, where lots are wider and garages are attached, it is a simpler job and we can usually work straight out of the garage door.
Being based in Milford means we are not driving in from another county to look at a sofa. We cover Fairfield and New Haven Counties, but Milford jobs are the shortest trip we make, which helps when something needs to go today rather than next week. We are out Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm, so weekend clear-outs before a move or a closing are workable.
