Junk removal · Fairfield county and New Haven County
We haul junk out of New Haven homes, apartments and rentals, from a single sofa to a full basement. Based in Milford, we cover the city seven days a week, 8am to 6pm, load everything ourselves and sweep the space before we go.
A lot of New Haven housing is stacked, and the furniture that went up years ago rarely comes down easily. We plan the carry before we start: which stairwell, which door, whether the couch needs to come apart on the landing. Street parking is the other half of the job. We keep the truck as close as we can, work quickly at the curb, and keep the sidewalk and hallway clear while we load.
The city turns over hard around lease dates, and what gets left behind is usually mattresses, desks, particle-board shelving and whatever was in the basement storage cage. We clear a room or a whole unit and sweep after, so the space is ready to hand back. We are out 8am to 6pm including weekends, which is when most moves actually happen.
Stone-walled New Haven basements hold decades of paint cans, storm windows, old washers and boxes that were never opened again. Access is often a narrow interior stair or an exterior bulkhead, so we bring things up in loads rather than dragging. You pay by the volume you actually fill in the truck, so a half-cleared basement is not priced like a full one. First pickup is $25 off.
